WHO/WHAT ARE YOU LIVING FOR????

          Technology has really changed the world, what never happened in the days of our parents are the things happening now. Especially the social network era!! INSTAGRAM. Like seriously, millions of profiles on Instagram, each with his/her own posts, but the common thing these days is that people do not tend to show their real self on Instagram. I don't know maybe they are doing this to show off or to please some people or just to oppress their enemies. Lol like seriously, I just wonder
            For instance, imagine someone waking up early in the morning without even saying their morning prayers, the next thing is a post on Instagram, "everything on fleek" like really, just try and check on the person at home on a normal day and u will see that nothing is on fleek. Sometimes most pictures people post on their Instagram pages are just random pictures but then some peeps have taken it upon themselves like if they see someone posting something, maybe she wore a nice shoe, or dress, bag anything and posted. The next thing u will hear is "Ha, I have to get this thing, this babe/guy is wearing, "I have to own this", 'I must do the same thing", Abeg don't give yourself high blood pressure o.  Those people you see wearing those things or you see them having all the beautiful shots on their page, though some are real but some, you don't know what they are passing through, what they have been through and how they are living their life. A person u see laughing doesn't mean he/she is living that happy or perfect life, he might just be doing that to wile away his pain and sorrows.
           They say all that glitters is not gold, this is a proverb which some people still don't understand. A friend once told me that it is easy for people to buy a clothing from a store, especially all these "abroad/oyinbo country things" with the label intact o, they will look for a nice location or environment, take a good picture and after that return the cloth back to the store for an exchange or if possible for a refund. But the next thing, you will see is that picture on the social media, and you want to kill yourself over something that the poster doesn't even have. God will help you.
           In summary, my people, be contend with what you have, if you have it, no crime in showing it off, at least, you know you work hard for it and it is your own property but if you don't have it, there is nothing bad in working hard in a good and holy way in getting what you want but please don't be too desperate. There is time for everything in this life. All these rich Forbes, they invest on things that
will give them a long lasting revenue/income not something that will not profit them.
We are to decide how we wanna live our own lives, and at the same time we can live it the right way.

Hello everyone, how are you doing today. So today, it's an interesting post (perhaps some rants and some truths....lol) tagged "Social Network.....". So yea why this topic today. For sometime now, I've been thinking on when to post out my view about social network: the good and bad about it. So guess it's the right time. We all know there are different Social media platforms, from Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, We-chat and lots more. Having social Network accounts, you can experience both the good and bad. The good part of it is that through Social Network, you can get to meet business partners, link up with people in the same field as you are, gain popularity, make new friends, advertise your business, sell your products and as well meet your life partner (as they always say...It all goes down in the DM.) Yea so seriously Social Network has a lot of positive sides/effects.

MY Naija Series: #1- A DAY AT AGODI GARDENS

It called Agodi Gardens here in Ibadan along Parliament road, close to Gate. Actually, before I went there, only God knew how have been searching on google about nice places to visit here in Ibadan since I got back. I came across this place online and I saw that a lot of people actually reviewed it and it was all positive so I decided to have a day out with my friend. MY HAIR GROWTH ROUTINE

Hi peeps, hope y'all are having a wonderful day. Today due to popular demand, I wIll be giving some tips on my hair growth routine. I actually started this process in 2013 and since then, have seen a lot of changes even till date.
          One thing is that I have no special cream or treatment, it just the usual and normal routine I follow consistently. We all need to know the type of hair we are having and what products suit our hair most. Once we know this it much more easier to work on our hair growth.

I will be listing out the five (5) most important routines which has helped my Relaxed-natural hair. But before then, one important note is that Relaxed hair can grow. Yes, most people believe you have to go natural before you can have a healthy hair growth. Natural hair is fine, yea, but not everyone wish/want to have their hair natural. For me I decided to relax my hair because I preferred it to Natural and it much more easier to work with. So I transitioned from Natural to Relax in 2011, and up till now I don't think I would want to go natural. It just a personal decision. If you would like to go natural and you know how to maintain it, good! and if it otherwise,cool.

WHY DO WE LIKE FORMING (PART 1)

How is it my people, hope you are all good. So today, I've got something interesting to discuss with you all.  My question is "Why do we like forming?". I know it good to develop yourself, look more responsible, and be more presentable most especially if you have to leave your country for another. But then why is it that some people just like forming too much. As in, sometimes it just so annoying. Of course it good to speak well, have a good accent  but do you have to fake it. Some people don't  even know how to speak that English, there is no way you will hear them speaking their "Tush English" and you won't hear that mother's tongue in some pronunciations. That is  very common. But then sometimes if you can't speak British, speak the one you understand.

             I was chatting with some friends few days ago, and one was like,  "Mamme, I don't think you can understand Yoruba anymore" and the other one was like "I don't think you know how to speak pidgin". I was like, my people where I am in this part of the world, you can't form, as in one when you see people especially my Ibo people and those from Akwa Ibom. Hmmmm, when they start to speak their language most especially when they are together, chai you will think, they are having a community village meeting. But the interesting part of it is that it helps to connect each one to another. Like that happiness, that joy that you have someone who you can speak your language to.  So I was like this place is just like Nigeria oo. There is no where to form here, if not you are on your own, as in when you start to speak your British English, they will be the one to ask like "You no sabi pidgin?", "Can you speak the same way am talking to you" or "Aren't you a Yoruba girl?, am a Yoruba abeg speak Yoruba joor". You will know by that time that you are with your own people therefore behave well if not, any forming things, my dear. You are on your own o. No one will even tell you, before you change that tush English to the language they understand.

         Hello everyone, how market today???.Hope we are having a great time out there. My people, it just few days to 2016 oo, before you know it, it already January 1st 2016. Time waits for no man. I think when the new year is around the corner, each and everyone try to ponder on how the present year had been for them, their achievements, what they have been up to and other things. That is just how life is.

          It almost a new year, do you have your new year resolutions set?, are you just planning to have one, or maybe it never crossed your mind. Well, I think for each and everyone who knows he/she is living a life of purpose, should have somethings they are aiming for, and what they want. It never too late to have your own year resolution. It just all about you, what you want for yourself, setting yours goals straight, those things you don't want, because "the sooner you have your new year resolutions, the sooner you can break them".

STRUGGLES/REALITIES OF WEARING GLASSES

Hello my people, how market. So for today's post i will be sharing with you about one of of those changes happening to me. So now am using four eyes, as people say. Lol. To make it simple, now am using glasses as in medicated one. I have been deliberating on it whether to take it or not for a very long time, but then my eye power was increasing and i started having headaches and more difficulty in seeing things far away from me, (Myopia or short-sighted).
I went to visit the doctor, so he suggested i have to go on glasses. I went to the optics shop and they check and then customize the one suitable for my eyes so here i am with my recommended glasses.

THE GREATEST GIFT I EVER HAD - MY DAD

Father's Day is done in celebration honoring fatherhood, paternal bond, as well as the influence and impacts of fathers in the society. In this season of Father's Day, everyone is celebrating it in one way or the other. Have you wished ur Dad a Happy Father's Day?.
          Still in the spirit of Father's Day. Thinking of all the impacts of a father in one's life. The lessons you have learn't from him, his words of encouragement, prayers. Even though he was/is very strict to you, have you ever thought for once that there is a reason for him doing that. He was in this world before you came, he has been there before, he has gone through all before you, maybe he does't want you to make those mistakes which might cost you your future and dreams of becoming a great person.
         A very good father will never see his own blood about to fall and not try to stop or caution you to avoid that great mistake one is about to make.

MAKING DECISIONS

I was reading a true life story about a lady online who was raped by some guys when she was in her teens. Due to the fact that she was molested and sexually abused, she became angry at herself, she was so angry and mad that she reacted to the actions that were taken on her.
       So what happened next, this circumstance changed her life, she decided to live the "runs girls" life, sleeping around and holding on to the fact that it was due to what happened to her that made her to take those decisions.
       Okay now let analyse this, truly it such a bad thing to experience this kind of situation but then, when you decide to take actions and react in a negative way to what has happened to you, they you will be responsible for your reckless life and be blamed for it.
       Everyone has had one bad experience or the other, but the power, strength to be able to overcome those bad situations is something every one needs to have.
Don't say because you are being abused to be ugly, u accepted and start behaving like one. Don't say because they say you are dumb, u accepted and start behaving like a dumb ass. Don't say because they say u can never make it, you give up on yourself and assume to say they have spoken the truth about your life.

       You are what you define yourself to be, One thing is that they will talk, insult, accuse, blame you.  But who are you? Can you be able to define yourself, when they say you are nobody, can you be able to stand and tell them that you are somebody, a chosen generation, peculiar, unique. distinct.
       One thing that has been holding me up to this moment is that, i don't allow my past to dwell in me, anything that happens to me in life which i find out that they are capable of distracting me from my goals, i try as much through the grace of God and with great strength to leave those behind and move ahead.
       Can you be able to do the same, forget the bad experience, change people's thought and ideas about you, stand for yourself and let them know you are unique and wonderfully made, and also that u are a great achiever
